Professional career
Since graduating in medicine, I have developed my career in prestigious hospitals, both public and private, in São Paulo, Brazil. Over the years, I have worked as a pediatrician in various hospitals and in my own private clinic.
Throughout my career, I have had the honor of serving as the head of the pediatric emergency department at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), teaching medical students and pediatric residents, and coordinating the Hospital Infections Department at the Diadema Health Center.
My commitment to teaching and research has led me to participate in several scientific publications and contribute a chapter to the UNIFESP Pediatric Book. I have also actively attended and collaborated in numerous national and international conferences.
Currently, my focus is on Integrative Medicine. I see patients in private clinics in Barcelona and on the Costa Brava (Lloret de Mar), and occasionally in my private practice in São Paulo. I also conduct online consultations, providing close and personalized support to patients and families around the world.
About me - Curriculum
I hold a medical degree from the Santos School of Medical Sciences (UNILUS) in São Paulo, Brazil. My vocation began with pediatrics, a specialty I pursued at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). I earned my specialist certification from the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics.
My constant desire to learn and offer more comprehensive care led me to also pursue postgraduate studies in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Healthcare-Related Infections, both at UNIFESP.
Over the years, and with clinical experience, I realized that treating symptoms alone wasn't enough. I felt the need to look beyond the patient's diagnosis and seek the true source of the imbalance. It was then that I began a profound journey of professional and personal transformation.
Traditional Chinese Medicine, conscious eating, breathing, yoga, and psychotherapy opened new doors for me to understand health from a more holistic, more human perspective, more connected to the totality of being.
I then decided to specialize in Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, Chinese diet therapy, and Chinese magistral formulas. I completed a nearly three-year postgraduate program in acupuncture at the AO/UNIFESP Center, a pioneering and high-level center where I had the privilege of training alongside a highly prestigious international medical team.
Upon completion of this training, I obtained the title of Specialist in Acupuncture from the Brazilian Medical Association and the Brazilian Medical College of Acupuncture. Since then, I have practiced with an integrative medicine approach, combining my knowledge of allopathic medicine with the diagnostic and therapeutic tools of Chinese medicine.
I continued my training with 5 post-graduate courses in Chinese Phytotherapy, first at the School of Oriental Therapies of São Paulo (ETOSP) and later at the Brazilian Association for the Study and Diffusion of Chinese Magistral Formulas (ABFMC), I continued my training with Dr. Shingo Nagashima, then my eighth and ninth post-graduate course in Chinese Magistral Formulas with Dr. Fulvio Schiavo at the Chinese Herbal Medicine School.
I also teach Chinese Magistral Formula courses for acupuncturists, both in person and online from Spain.
My practice is based on a systemic approach, which considers not only the physical symptoms but also the emotional, family, and social context of each individual. This approach has allowed me to achieve deeper and more lasting results in the treatment of both adults and children.
I work in person in Barcelona, Costa Brava (Lloret de Mar), and occasionally in São Paulo, Brazil. I also provide online consultations for people from around the world, in Spanish, Portuguese, French, English, and Catalan.
