Integrative Medicine Treatments

In my practice, I integrate conventional medicine with natural and ancient therapies, such as Chinese medicine and herbal medicine, to offer personalized treatments that address the root cause of the imbalance. A comprehensive and humane approach to improving your health and well-being.

Phytotherapy - Chinese Magistral Formulas

The use of medicinal plants is one of the fundamental pillars of Integrative Medicine. In my practice, I design personalized treatments based on Chinese magistal formulas, aiming to treat various pathologies in a natural, effective, and safe way.

Chinese Magistral Formulas (CMFs) are complex preparations made from ingredients of plant, mineral, and animal origin. Their efficacy is supported by centuries of clinical experience and documentation in the classic texts of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). They are harmonized combinations of various herbs, selected in specific proportions to restore the patient's energetic balance and address the root cause of the imbalance.

I work with dry extracts, due to their high concentration and more consistent clinical results. These are obtained through modern extraction, concentration, and granulation processes, preserving the therapeutic properties of the plants.

To correctly prescribe these formulas, a thorough understanding of TCM theory is essential. Only an accurate diagnosis allows for personalized treatment tailored to the patient's clinical progress. Therefore, I conduct regular follow-ups, re-evaluating each case at least every 4 to 8 weeks, or sooner if symptoms change. This close monitoring ensures greater safety and effectiveness in the therapeutic process.

Chinese formulas can be used as a primary treatment or in combination with other therapies, such as conventional medicine, acupuncture, or other natural techniques. They are especially effective in treating:

* Insomnia, anxiety, depression

* Digestive disorders, allergies, asthma

* Chronic pain, tendonitis, persistent fatigue

* Menstrual disorders, infertility, menopause

* Overweight, memory problems, hormonal imbalances

* Support in sports performance and rejuvenation processes

In addition to herbal medicine, I offer nutritional counseling and support for lifestyle changes, tailored to each individual. A conscious diet, along with a healthy lifestyle, is essential for preventing disease and consolidating treatment results.

Overall, this approach allows us to address the patient holistically, respecting their individuality, listening to their needs, and activating their own health resources.

Acupuncture and complementary techniques of Chinese medicine

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves stimulating specific points on the body with fine needles. Its goal is to restore the balance of vital energy (Qi) flow, thereby promoting health and well-being.

According to this tradition, Qi manifests itself in two fundamental aspects:

* Yang, which represents active, warm, and ascending energy.

* Yin, which expresses passive, cold and descending energy.

Acupuncture seeks to mobilize, balance, and strengthen these energies, while helping to eliminate negative influences (called "perverse energies") that can disrupt the body's health.

Suction cups

Cupping therapy uses cups applied to the skin to generate negative pressure (suction), which stimulates the circulation of Qi and Blood (Xue) in the energy meridians. This technique is useful for releasing blockages, relieving muscle tension, and detoxifying tissues, thus restoring the body's natural energy flow.

Moxibustion (Moxatherapy)

Moxibustion involves applying heat to specific points on the body through the combustion of the Artemisia vulgaris plant. This therapeutic heat stimulates the circulation of Qi and Blood, revitalizes the internal organs (Zang/Fu), and is especially effective for treating syndromes caused by cold or Yang energy deficiency.

Auriculotherapy (Ear Acupuncture)

Auriculotherapy is a technique that stimulates reflex points located on the auricle to regulate the function of internal organs. It is very effective as a complementary therapy for treating pain, emotional disorders, addictions, digestive problems, and much more.
